Dear FishBase Guestbook users,

Welcome to our new and improved site!

In the past, spammers have succeeded in making our guestbook unusable. Thus, in our aspiration to keep the site as simple as possible yet functional, we came up with this new version protected by a captcha system. We have checked and cleaned the database, keeping all good postings. However, note that the record numbers are tentative, we may need to change them in the coming months, and that the site is without registration at the moment. Please bear with us as we continuously develop this site to maximize service to fish enthusiasts all over the world. Feel free to comment on this version and make suggestions for improvements.

Lastly, may we clarify that the Guestbook is where you may express your thoughts about our website and/or provide comments on our work which donít necessarily need a response. If you wish to make technical comments and inquiries that needs scientific responses from experts in our team or other entities/groups that wishes to share their knowledge on the subject at hand, then you may use our Fish Forum for that purpose.

Our very best regards.

A distinguish aroma that really confound to the saltiness and freshness as it varies in your palate may transduce the spices added, this fish originated in our suburbans farmer locale who made to sell in commodity price to hundreds peso. An array of eggs filtered in the transluscent material that agonizes the eye to consume as made to resound in delicacy excitement! There maybe a recipe involved that we could be inspired to adapt. The currency of valuing the price market and the restoration of culture foods product. Thank you and perhaps its main character as fish may continually empowers the fishermen for restoration.

Hi and happy new year to all fish people, I am a PhD graduate of the University of Guelph (1990), I am ecotoxicologist. This is a great database for information about fish species/ etc. Thanks to all people who created this amazing tool. For some year I worked on fish ecotoxicology of the Caspian Sea and now I am more involved with the Persian Gulf pollutions. Best regards, Ahmad Mahdavi, PhD, ecotoxicologist, University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran.
